Uncle of Mrs. Parker Thompson Buried Here Wednesday Morning

Funeral services for Fitzhugh Stanfield, 75, of Anacoco, La., who died early
Tuesday morning at a Shreveport hospital after a long illness were held at 10
a.m. Wednesday at the Winnfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor
of the Winnfield Presbyterian Church officiating.

The deceased had never married.  He was a half brother to the late C. F.
McAnally of Winnfield.  Surviving are four nieces: Miss Madge McAnally and
Mrs. Gene Weil, both of Shreveport; Mrs. Parker Thompson of Winnfield, and
Mrs. W. E. Hedrick of McGehee, Ark., and one nephew, Claude McAnally of
Shreveport.
