Father of Jeff Smith, Former Winn Resident, Dies in Colfax

Funeral services for Charles H. Smith, well known Colfax citizen, who died at
his residence in Colfax, Wednesday night of last week were held the following
day at the Colfax Methodist Church with Rev. J. C. Rousseaux in charge of the
services.  Interment followed in the Colfax Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born in Winn Parish September 29, 1866 and had lived most of his
life.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lula Smith and four children, Joe Smith of
Colfax, Jeff Smith of Winnfield, Mrs. Hattie Mae Faraldo and Mrs. Joyce
Sylvester of Colfax.
