Mrs. W. A. Smith of Sikes Succumbs Saturday Night

Mrs. W. A. Smith of Sikes, about 55 years of age, died at the Pineville
hospital Saturday night at 10 o'clock.  Funeral services were held at Hebron
Church Sunday afternoon.

Surviving the deceased are her husband; three sons, Wayland and Mayland of
Sikes and Alon of California, and five daughters.  Among the sisters and
brothers are Dr. John Adams, Henry Adams, Mrs. Della Simmons of Sikes, and
Mrs. Tim Higdon of Tullos.
