Mrs. G. Stinson of Jonesboro Buried At Gansville

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gansville Baptist Church
for Mrs. Gordie Stinson, 86, of Jonesboro, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
T. B. Puckitt.  Rev. Lelon Swanner officiated.

Interment followed in the Gansville Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds
Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Stinson was a former resident of Winnfield and a pioneer school teacher
of Winn and Jackson Parishes.  She was also a sister of the late J. D.
Puckitt, a former well known Winn Parish resident.

She is survived by one son, Cliff Stinson, Ruston, one sister, Mrs. Ada
Sledge, Ringgold; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stinson died Sunday in a Ruston nursing home.
