Paul F. Stinson, Banker, Dies December 12

Funeral services were held Monday at Jonesboro Methodist Church for Paul F.
Stinson, 62, of Jonesboro, who died early Sunday, December 12, 1965, at
Robinson's Clinic after a lengthy illness.

The Revs. Eldredge Blakely and Terrell T. Lowe officiated.  Burial was in
Jonesboro Cemetery by Edmonds Funeral Home.

A native of Jackson Parish, Mr. Stinson was executive vice president of
Jackson Parish Bank in Jonesboro, past president of the Jackson Parish School
Board,, state representative from 1940-1948, past president of the Northeast
Louisiana Clearinghouse Association, and past president of the Louisiana State
Golfers Association.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred McBride Stinson; one son, David J.
Stinson of Jonesboro; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Stewart of Jonesboro; three
sisters, Mrs. Ruth Defreese of Jonesboro, Mrs. Maxa Bundrick of Coushatta, and
Mrs. Elizabeth Stinson of Abilene, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Cecil Tait, Larry Bundrick, Woody Walker, Billy Ross, Wayland
and Oscar McDonald.
