Lloyd J. Stovall

Funeral services for Lloyd J. Stovall, 72, of Hammond, La., were held at 2:00
p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 1983 at First United Methodist Church in Hammond,
La., with burial following in Poplarville, Miss.

He died Sunday, October 16, at the Hammond Nursing Home after a long illness.

Mr. Stovall was the son of the late Logan J. and Tommie Hagler Stovall of
Dodson, La.  He was a graduate of Dodson High School and La. State University
where he starred for the LSU Tiger football team. He was a former head 
football coach and athletic director at Southeastern La. University.

Survivors include two daughters, Annabelle Haney of Upperville, Va., and Mary
Elizabeth Aver of Poplarville, Miss.; one brother, Thomas N. Stovall of
Hebert, La.; two sisters, Roline DeLoach of Minden, La., and Mary Elizabeth
Horton of Pensacola, Fla., and two grandchildren.
