Stone We, your committee, appointed at a special meeting of Dodson Lodge No. 289, F. & A. M., held on March 26, 1910, have unanimously adopted the following: Whereas it has pleased the Great Architect of the Universe to remove from our midst our beloved brother, Benj. W. Stone; and Whereas, it is but just that a fitting recognition of his many virtues should be memorialized, herefore be it Resolved by Dodson Lodge, No. 289 F. & A. M., that while we bow with humble submission to the will of the Most High, we do not less mourn for our brother, who has been taken from us. Resolved, That in the death of Benj. W. Stone, this Lodge laments the loss of a brother who was ever ready to proffer thehand of aid and the voice of sympathy to the needy and distressed of the fraternity; an active member of this society, whose regular attendance and utmost endeavors were extended for its welfare and prosperity; a friend and companion who was dear to us all; a citizen whose upright and noble life was a standard of emulation to his fellows. Resolved, That the heartfelt sympathy of this Lodge be extended to his family in their bereavement. Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon the records of the Lodge, a copy thereof be presented to the family our our deceased brother and a copy for publication be sent to each the Dodson Times, the Jackson Independent, and The Comrade.
