F. Stovall Is Heart Attack Victim Monday Well Known Veterinarian Dies At Jonesboro Home Dr. Henry F. Stovall, well known veterinarian of Winn and Jackson Parishes, succumbed to a heart attack at his home Monday morning, August 12, at Jonesboro. Born at Dodson in 1892, the son of the late J. J. and Maggie Williamson Stovall, he attended the public school there and later graduated from the Kansas City College of Veterinary Science. He practiced his profession in Winn and Jackson Parishes and for more than 10 years has resided in Jonesboro. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Edmunds Funeral home in Jonesboro and interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery. The rites were conducted by the Rev. J. W. Buckner, pastor of Jonesboro Baptist Church. Besides his wife, the former Miss Blanche Madden of Dodson, and two daughters, Jerry and Jaime, he is survived by six brothers and two sisters. The brothers are B. M. Stovall, Logan J. Stovall, and R. L. Stovall, of Dodson; Dr. Simon D. Stovall, Petaluma, Calif., Lee Stovall, Vallajeo, Calif., and John C. Stovall, Odessa, Tex.; the sisters are Mrs. J. F. Faith of Winnfield and Mrs. M. D. Nicholson of New Orleans.
