Dr. Simon Stovall, Native of Dodson, Dies in California

Dr. Simon D. Stovall, 67, native of Dodson and brother of Mrs. J. F. Faith of
Winnfield and L. J. Stovall of Dodson, died in Vallejo, California on February
6.  He had been a resident of California since in the 1930s.

Mr. Stovall, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. J Stovall of Dodson, was a
graduate of the Kansas City Veterinarian College and had served as a captain
in World War 1.  He had retired from his work two years ago and had been in
ill health for some time.

Burial was made in Soldiers Cemetery, San Bruno, California.

Surviving are two children, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Faith of
Winnfield and Mrs. M. D. Nicholson of New Orleans; three brothers, L. J.
Stovall of Dodson, John C. of Kermit, Texas, and W. L. of Vallejo, Calif.
