Miss May Stone

Services for Miss Ellen Mae Stone, 83, of 407 North Laurel Street in
Winnfield, Louisiana, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, in the
chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating.  Burial
followed at Siloam Cemetery in the Gansville Community of Winn Parish.

She died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, November 5, 1985, at Lincoln General Hospital
in Ruston, Louisiana after a long illness.

Miss Stone, whose forebearers were pioneer settlers of this area, was a
bookkeeper for Milam's Wholesale Grocer for 27 years, a member of First
Baptist Church, and a member of the Baptist seniors group, Keenagers.

Survivor is one sister, Mrs. Eunice Shannon of Dallas, Texas.
