M. Stovall, 76, Succumbs; Buried on Wednesday Funeral services for B. M. Stovall, 76, retired Dodson merchant and Winn Parish planter, who died Monday afternoon, were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro, with the Rev. Dameron officiating. Assisting was the Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor of the Hodge Methodist Church. Burial was in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Mr. Stovall was a member of a prominent Jackson-Winn family. He served as a member of the parish police jury a number of years, was active in all civic affairs, and was a steward and worker in the Dodson Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Attorney Wayne Stovall, Jonesboro; and Hugh Walker Stovall, Dodson; four brothers, L. J. Stovall of Dodson, Simon and Lee Stovall, both of California, and Conley Stovall, Kermit, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Mike Nicholson of New Orleans and Mrs. J. F. Faith of Winnfield, and one granddaughter.
