M. Stovall Beloved Woman Dies After a Lingering Illness Dodson, La., Nov. 10 Mrs. Minnie Walker Stovall, born Oct. 7, 1884, died Nov. 6, 1936, wife of B. M. Stovall of Dodson, La., died at her home Friday evening of a heart ailment that had kept her confined for several years. Mrs. Stovall had resided in this community most of her life, having come to Dodson as a young girl. On December 10, 1902 she was married to B. M. Stovall, son of the late J. J. Stovall, a well known merchant of this town. Mrs. Stovall was the eldest daughter of the late F. T. Walker of Dodson. As long as her health permitted she was an active worker in the First Baptist Church and other local organizations. She was well known and loved throughout the entire community for her kindness and generosity. Surviving are her husband, B. M. Stovall, two sons, Wayne S. Stovall, an attorney of Jonesboro, La., Hugh Walker Stovall, a student of Louisiana Tech, one granddaughter, Beverly Wayne Stovall of Jonesboro, one sister, Mrs. C. L. Shell, Dodson; two brothers, Henry Walker, St. Louis, Mo., and Randall Walker, New Orleans. Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of Dodson, with interment in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers were L. L. Lee, W. L. Bibb, W. W. Johnston, W. D. Temple, Guy Waters, H. R. Sylvest. Honorary pallbearers were R. F. Stovall, R. L. Stovall, L. J. Stovall, E. D. Boone, Dr. J. F. Faith, and Charles L. Shell.
