J. Joiner, 26, of Natchitoches, was instantly killed when their cars sideswiped each other a half mile above Natchitoches on the Natchitoches-Grand Ecore Road at 9 o'clock Monday night. Stovall died shortly after the wreck at the Natchitoches hospital. Joiner's truck went into a ditch, pinning him beneath and crushing his chest. Stovall Buried In Shreveport Stovall was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Stovall of Shreveport, who are former residents of Dodson and Sikes. Mr. Dennis Stovall, at one time a merchant at Sikes, served many years as a member of the parish school board. Woodrow Stovall married Miss Dorothy Walker of Winnfield several years ago and they resided in Campti where he operated a filling station. She was in the car with him when the accident occurred, but was unhurt. Funeral services were held at the Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Shreveport Wednesday morning with the Rev. Jolly Harper, pastor, assisted by the Rev. George Pearce, pastor of Broadmoor Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Forest Park Cemetery. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Stovall; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Stovall, Sr., of Shreveport; four brothers, D. M. Stovall, Jr., Longview, Texas; Karl and John Stovall, Shreveport; and James Stovall, a student at S. M. U., Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. J. Curtis Prince, Mrs. Alvin McCarty, Mrs. Ray Fouts, and Evelyn and Carlotta Stovall, all of Shreveport. The deceased was a member of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church.
