Arthur A. Stroud Dies March 23rd At Hudson Home


Arthur A. Stroud, age 71, retired farmer, died at his home in the Hudson
Community, Tuesday, March 21.  Funeral services were held at the Friendship
Baptist church the following afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev.
G. A. Coleman, pastor of the Welcome Home Baptist Church.  Interment was on
the Friendship Cemetery.

Mr. Stroud is survived by two brothers, Henry Stroud of Sikes, and Willie
Stroud of Quitman; three sisters, Mrs. Sidney Stone and Mrs. Lula Cockerham,
Winnfield, and Mrs. Laura Gresham, Houston, Texas.
