Funeral Services For Mrs. E. Stroud Held Sunday P. M.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Stroud, age 79, who died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Curtis Varnell, here last Friday morning at 7:15 o'clock,
were held at 2:30 o'clock at the Mt. Zion Methodist church.  Final rites
were conducted by the Rev. William R. Akin, pastor, and interment was in the
church cemetery.  

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Knox, Shreveport, Mrs. Curtis
Varnell, Winnfield; three sons, Jesse Stroud and Robert Stroud, Winnfield, and
Frank Stroud, Atlanta, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Rosie McDonald, Brunswick,
Georgia, and one brother, C. C. Stroud, Hodge, La.
