Funeral Rites For C. C. Strange, 80, Held Sunday

Christopher Columbus Strange, 80, of Pleasant Hill died Friday, August 16,
1968 in a Winnfield hospital.

Strange, a native of Castor Creek, was a retired logger.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle L. Strange of Pleasant Hill; three
sons, John Strange and Bobby Strange, both of Gladewater, Texas, and Chris
Strange of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Christine Culp of Winnfield; two
brothers, Will Strange of Winnfield and Ernest Strange of Shreveport; nine
grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial, under direction of
Hixson Brothers, was in Allen Cemetery near Winnfield.
