I. B. Strange, 90, Succumbs Nov. 25 At Beulah Home

I. B. Strange, 90 years, 11 months and twelve days of age, died in the home of
his son, J. W. Strange, in the Beulah Community, November 25.  Funeral
services were held at Beech Creek, November 25 with the Rev. R. M. Doughty in
charge of the services.  He was assisted by the Rev. C. R. McCartney and the
Rev. J. W. Jones.

Mr. Strange was born in Jackson Parish, December 13, 1848.  He was the father
of ten children, 5 sons and 5 daughters.  Those surviving are Rev. J. W. 
Strange, Winnfield, Will Strange, Tullos, Ernest Strange, Colfax, Mrs. Houston
Wiggins, Winnfield, Mrs. Lewis Cox, Winnsboro.  Three daughters and one son
preceded him in death.  He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren.

Mr. Strange joined the Baptist Church at Pinehill in 1888 and remained a
member as long as he lived.
