Robert L. Stroud Of Montgomery Dies March 31

Robert Lee Stroud, retired laborer of Montgomery, died March 21 in Confederate
Memorial Hospital, Shreveport.  He was a native of Columbia and a member of
the Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 1, at 1:30 at the Pentecostal
Church in Montgomery with Rev. Marvin Guin officiating.  Burial was at Mt.
Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include five sons, George Robert Stroud, Bennett Stroud of
Montgomery; Robert L. Stroud, Jr., David Stroud, Gilbert Stroud, all of Dry
Prong; one stepson, Titus A. Parker, Montgomery; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Harry
Killen, New Orleans, Mrs. Lauvina Parker, Alexandria; 14 grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
