H. L. Stroud, 78, Dies Sunday In Local Hospital

Harvey L. Stroud, 78, of Montgomery, died Sunday, October 22, 1972 at 10:30
p.m. in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness.  

A native of Grant Parish, Mr. Stroud was a member of the Baptist Church and a
retired carpenter.

Survivors are one brother, Lonnie Stroud of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs.
Maude Blake of Winnfield and Mrs. Helen Stanfield of Baton Rouge; and several
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home at Winnfield with Rev. David Meyer officiating, assisted by Rev.
W. R. Gage.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Montgomery.
