Stroud Held At Mt. Zion Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church for Harrison Stroud, 71, who died Tuesday, December 2, 1975 at his residence in Montgomery after a long illness. Officiating were the Rev. M. C. Cady and the Rev. George Horn. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Stroud was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, a native of Winn Parish, and a retired storeroom keeper for Southwestern Electric Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ora Stroud of Montgomery; one son, W. E. Stroud of Mooringsport; one daughter, Mrs. O. W. Walker of Montgomery; two brothers, Houston Stroud and Edwin Stroud, both of Montgomery; four sisters, Mrs. Dora Garner of Atlanta, Mrs. Hester Fowler and Mrs. Ethel Nutt, both of Montgomery, and Mrs. Ida Starks of Pineville; seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
