Mrs. Alice Strickland Buried at Saline

Funeral services were held Friday, June 8, at Saline Baptist Church near St.
Maurice for Mrs. Nancy (?) Strickland, 81, who died June 7 at the home of her
son, Frank Strickland, of Clarence.  The Rev. Mr. I. C. Creel, pastor of the
Campti Baptist Church officiated.  Burial was under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Besides her son, Frank, Mrs. Strickland is survived by three daughters, Mrs.
Joe Clark, Alexandria; Mrs. C. A. McLamore, Natchitoches; and Mrs. O. O.
Myers, Campti; and two other sons, J. R. and W. E. Strickland of Montgomery.
