Elmer M. Strickland, 67, died Tuesday November 15, 1966
in his home following a lengthy illness.  He was a resident
of Shreveport.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Leindecker
Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wilmer Birdwell
officiating, assisted by Sister Bennie Friday of Chestnut.

Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Williams
and Mrs. Miss Sharon Strickland, both of Shreveport; one
sister, Mrs. Ruby Williams of Winnfield; six brothers, W. E.
Strickland, O. D. Strickland, all of Dardenelle, Ark., C. L.
Strickland of Shreveport, A. G. Strickland of Alexandria and
Rayborn Strickland of Winnfield.
