J. R. Strickland Funeral Is Held At Old Saline

Funeral services for Joseph Randall Strickland, age 55, where held Wednesday
at Old Saline Cemetery.  He died Tuesday in a Shreveport hospital.

Officiating at the funeral was Rev. Henry McLaren, assisted by Rev. Joe
Callio.  Burial was under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maudie Strickland; one daughter, Delores; two
sons, Joseph R., Jr., and Charles Wayne, all of Natchitoches, Route 3; two
brothers, Willie Strickland and Frank Strickland, of Natchitoches; three
sisters, Mrs. O. O. Myers of Campti, Mrs. C. A. McLemore of Natchitoches, and
Mrs. Joe Clark of Clarence.
