Myrtle Strickland Of Atlanta Dies Friday Morning

Funeral Services Held At Mt. Zion Church on Sunday

Funeral services for Myrtle Christine Strickland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.
E. Strickland of near Atlanta, who died at her home Friday morning, were held
Sunday at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Reverend J. A. Jones
officiating.  Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of
the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The deceased, who had been ill for two years, was 18 years of age at the time
of her death.  She is survived by her parents, one brother, James Harold, and
two sisters, Glen Marie and Cecil Ray.

Pallbearers at the funeral were W. A. Fowler, J. P. Mitchell, Murrell
Davidson, Burgess Mitchell, Marshall Brown, and Johnnie Kieffer.
