D. W. Stringer Dies; Burial At Harmony Grove

David Walter Stringer, 86, of Gaars Mill, passed away at 10 p.m. Wednesday,
July 21, 1965 in a local nursing home after a long illness.

Mr. Stringer was a retired farmer, a member of the Baptist church, and was at
one time a deacon of the church.

Last rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Harmony Grove Baptist church
with the Rev. Willie James and Rev. C. S. Cadwalader officiating.  Interment
will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Troy Lee Kelly, Dodson, Mrs. Sharon 
Parker, Sikes, and Mrs. Lloyd Newsome of Urania; one sister, Mrs. Katie 
Wilson, Tullos; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
