E. H. Strickland, Montgomery Native, Dies

Edward Hubert Strickland, 45, of Natchitoches, died suddenly at 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 26, 1966, in a Natchitoches hospital.  He was a farmer and
was a native of Montgomery.

Strickland was a World War II veteran and a member of Montgomery Lodge No. 168
of Montgomery.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Earl Morris officiating.
Burial was in the Saline Cemetery near St. Maurice.

Masonic graveside rites were held.

Strickland is survived by his mother, Mrs. Effie Buna Strickland of
Natchitoches; a brother, Waymon Strickland of Natchitoches, and a number of
nieces and nephews.
