Mrs. Strickland, Former Winnfield Resident, Dies

Mrs. Rosa Hayes Strickland, 48, of Route 2, Shreveport, died Friday night,
Dec. 30, in a Shreveport hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Strickland made her home in Winnfield up until about 12 or 13 years ago. 
She and her husband operated the Fittz Dairy during their stay here.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer M. Strickland, two sisters and five
brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Centuries
Memorial Park on the Mansfield Road.
