Mr. Charles "Chuck" E. Stroud, age 66, of Winnfield, La., passed away Sunday, 

February 20, 2005, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La.  He  

was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  He was also a member of Pipeliners 

Local #798 and an avid race car enthusiast.  Mr. Stroud served in the Army 

during the Korean War.  



He was the son of the late George Stroud and the late Effie (Saindiedge) 

Stroud.



He is survived by his wife Mrs. Shirley Stroud of Winnfield, La; 



One Daughter,

Regina Murphy and her husband Jeff of Pine Prairie, La.



Two Sons,

James Hayes of Sioux Falls, S.D.                                    

Buddy Hayes of Galveston, Texas



Three Stepsons and Three Stepdaughters



Two Sisters,

Ruth Stroud of Winnfield, La.

Judy Harlan and her husband Wayne of Winnfield, La.



Two Brothers,

James Stroud of Winnfield, La.                                     

George Stroud and his wife Mary of Winnfield, La.



Seven grandchildren

Two great-grandchildren   

Fourteen step-grandchildren

Nine step-great-grandchildren    



Mr. Stroud was preceded in death by his brother, Basil Stroud, and grandchild, 

Amanda Ritter.



Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., 

where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, February 

21, 2005 and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2005.  Funeral 

services will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM Tuesday, 

February 22, 2005 , with Rev. Gerald Nelson, Rev. Bob Tuggle, and Rev. Lester 

Carpenter  officiating.  Interment will be at Garden Of Memories Cemetery in 

Winnfield, La.
