Stroud, Life-Long Winn Resident, Dies Funeral services for Henry S. Stroud, life-long resident of Winn Parish, who died at his home near Atlanta, Feb. 1, were conducted at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, where he had been a member for a long time, by Rev. Tillman Brown, pastor. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of the Edmonds Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Everett, Bobbie Graff and Alvin Rachel of Denton, Texas, and Ardis and Elmer Stroud of Atlanta, all grandsons of the deceased. The deceased, who had been well known and was well liked by all who knew him, recently had moved his membership to the Atlanta Methodist Church. He had been ill for a short time. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Love of Atlanta, and Mrs. Ruby Rachel of Denton, Texas; five sons, Edie Stroud, Little Rock, Ark., Emanuel Stroud, Pineville, James Stroud, Barksdale Field, and Ellis and Carlton Stroud, Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. Horne, Montgomery, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
