Lambert Stroud Succumbs; Buried At Mars Hill

Lambert D. Stroud, 58, of South Winnfield, died in the Veterans Hospital
at Shreveport at 7:05 p.m. May 16.  He was a welder.

Last rites were conducted at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m.
Thursday with the Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in Mars Hill
Cemetery under direction of Southern.

Mrs. Stroud is survived by three sisters, Mrs. O. M. Jarnagin and Mrs. Betty
Gilcrease, South Winnfield, and Mrs. Bessie Spillers, Shreveport; four
brothers, Dewey Stroud, South Winnfield, Louis Stroud, Arcadia, Elmer Stroud
Shreveport, and Eugene Stroud, Pineville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
