Funeral Rites For W. B. Strange At Beech Creek

William B. Strange, 77, of Star Route, Tullos, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday,
January 20, 1970, in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.

A native of Winn Parish, the deceased was a retired ranger with the Forest
Service and a member of the Beech Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Beech Creek Baptist Church
with Rev. E. D. Dearmon and Rev. Tim Allbritton officiating.  Interment was in
the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include five sons, John H. Strange, J. D. Strange, both of
Shreveport, Joel I. Strange of Tullos, La., Ernest Strange of West Monroe, and
Troy Strange of Olla; one brother, Ernest Strange of Shreveport; seven
grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
