Funeral For Mrs. G. E. Stubbs To Be Held Saturday

Mrs. G. E. Stubbs, 55, died at a local clinic Wednesday at 10 p.m. after a
long illness.  Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willie V. Hall, at 306 North St. John St., Rev.
Harvey B. Hysell, Methodist pastor, and Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian
minister, will be in charge of services.

Interment will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixon
Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria.

Mrs. Stubbs has been a resident of Winnfield for the past eight years.  She
was born in Audelia, Texas, January 18, 1888.

Surviving her are husband, G. E. Stubbs; two children, Mrs. Willie V. Hall of
Winnfield and Claude Stubbs of Pineville; one brother, Arthur Lothridge of
Garland, Texas; and four grandchildren.
