F. Sullivan Funeral services for Mrs. J. F. Sullivan, 57, who died at the home of her son in Winnfield Sunday afternoon after an illness of two years, were held Monday afternoon at the First Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. H. B. Hysell officiating. He was assisted by Rev. H. H. McBride and Rev. Alwin Stokes. Interment was in the local cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Harmon Chandler, S. E. Smith, J. F. Walker, John C. Allardyce, L. J. Thomas, and E. S. Burke. A native of Scooba, Miss., Mrs. Sullivan came to Winnfield with her family in 1907. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the orphanage circle. Surviving are her husband, J. F. Sullivan; four sons, Leamon, Raymond, and J. T. of Winnfield; and Milburn of Gulf Port, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Murdock of Louisville, Ky.; and four sisters, Mrs. C. N. Jones and Miss Lottie Cobb, Monroe, La.; Mrs. S. M. Garner of Houston, Texas and Mrs. B. Hartzog of Palestine, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
