Bessie Sutton

Bessie Sutton of the Roseview Nursing Home in Shreveport died Friday in the 
Schumpert Medical Center.

She was born in Jackson Parish but had been a resident of Shreveport since 
1945.  She was employed at Kilpatrick Life Insurance Co. and was a member of 
the Southern Methodist Church.

Services were held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-
Neath Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Terry, pastor of the Southern 
Methodist Church officiating.  Burial was in Centuries Park.

Survivors include five sisters, Elmer Burnett of Jackson, Lettie Gates of 
Winnfield, Velma Womack of Dodson, Nettice Windham of Shreveport, and Lucille 
Hebert of Bossier City; and two brothers, A. R. Burnett and J. E. Burnett, both 
of Shreveport.
