Funeral Rites For A. L. Thomas Held Tuesday

Audie L. Thomas, 47, of Route 2, Winnfield, native of Mississippi and retired
from the Air Force, died at 12 a.m. Monday, January 24, 1972 in a local
hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in East Winnfield Baptist
Church with Rev. J. L. Holt and Rev. E. J. Yocum officiating.

He was a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanice Cockerham Thomas of Winnfield; one
daughter, Miss Teresa W. Thomas of Winnfield; his father, Ira Thomas of Spring
Valley, Calif.; one brother, Jim Thomas of Las Vegas, Calif.; one sister,
Mrs. Ann Rose, Chula Vista, Calif.
