J. Pres., Dies Jesse Temple, 87, who served Ward Four as Police Juror for 24 years, beginning in 1924, and as president of that body eight years, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 1974 in the Jackson Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Siloam Baptist Church, with Rev. J. C. Creel, assisted by Rev. Wilmer Jordan, in charge of the last rites.
