Sister Of Local Resident Dies In Houston, Tex.

Mrs. Lena Truett, 69, died Tuesday, January 20, 1970, in a Houston, Texas
hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was a native of Winnfield and a
resident of Houston, Texas.

Survivors include four sons, Milton Truett, George Truett, and Glen Truett,
all of Houston, and R. B. Collins of Belle Chasse; a brother, Clarence Collins
of Winnfield, and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Baptist Church
with Rev. Jim Brasher officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.
