Mrs. C. E. Tilton, 79, of Winnfield, died Friday, August 24, 1973 in the
Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in the Mount Zion
Cemetery.

Mrs. Tilton was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, C. E. Tilton; three stepsons, Wilbert Tilton of
Ville Platte, Olan Tilton of Montgomery, and Elbert Tilton of Winnfield; a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Willie Dee Smith of Florida; and two brothers, Edwin Kelley
and Bryan Kelley, both of Winnfield.
