Thompson Rites Held October 12

Sam Thompson, 81, of Colfax, died Wednesday, October 10, 1973, in a Pineville
nursing home.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the French Cemetery in
D'Artigo, Grant Parish.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, Louis of Montgomery and J. N. of
Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs. Clarissa Fredieu, Mrs. Luler Bedgood, both
of Colfax, and Mrs. Ada Stanfield of Pineville; 16 grandchildren and 22 great
grandchildren.
