Howard William Tarver, age 82, of Winnfield, La., died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. Mr. Tarver was retired from Winn Motors, Inc. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnfield. He Served in the Army-Air Force during World War II.
He was the son of the late Marl Tarver and the late Volena Tarver.
He is survived by his
Two Daughters, Brenda Tarver of Winnfield, La. Pam Latham and her husband Tommy of Winnfield, La.
Two Sons, Lamar Tarver and his wife Candace of Winnfield, La. Bobby G. Tarver and his wife Betty of Monroe, La.
Two Sisters, Viola Cole of Lake Charles, La. Gail Woodard of Dallas, Texas
Three Brothers, R. E. "Tootsie" Tarver of Weston, La. James Tarver of Winnfield, La. Harold Tarver of Winnfield, La.
Ten grandchildren Jason and Jared Tarver of Winnfield, La.; David, Marc, and Amanda Tarver of Monroe, La.; Jared, Josh, and Jennifer Reeves of Winnfield, La.; Kimberly and Ben Stinson of Longview, Tx.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, June 24, 2004 and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday, June 25, 2004. Funeral services will be at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM Friday, June 25, 2004 , with Rev. Lindsey Burns officiating. Interment will be at Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, La.
