T. A. Maxwell, 62, Succumbs; Rites March 8

Thomas Allen Maxwell, 62, of Winnfield, owner of Central Lumber Company of
Pineville, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 1973 in Methodist Hospital at
Houston, Tex.  He was a member of Curtis T. Hines Masonic Lodge No. 317 of
Tioga and of Lakeside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Gorham Maxwell of Winnfield; one
daughter, Mrs. Beth Pickett of Houma; four sons, Larry Maxwell of Magehee,
Ark., Farrell Maxwell of Waco, Tex., Paul Maxwell of Pineville, and Mark
Maxwell of Winnfield; two brothers, Henry J. Maxwell of Pollock and C.W.
Maxwell of Jonesville, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hixson Bros.,
Pineville.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Pollock.
