L. Tannehill This Afternoon Died In Baptist Sanitarium Wednesday Night After Several Weeks Illness Funeral services for Richard Lafayette Tannehill, Jr., age 44 years, 9 months, and 21 days, were held at First Baptist Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock, the Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor, officiating. Mr. Tannehill died in the Alexandria sanitarium Wednesday night after suffering from kidney trouble. Interment was held in the local cemetery, a large concourse of relatives and friends attending the services. Eastern Star Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M. had charge of the ceremony at the graveside. Mr. Tannehill was affiliated with the Winnfield and Shreveport Masonic Orders. He was connected with the L. & A. Railway Company. The deceased is survived by his wife, two daughters, Maxine and Louise, and one son, Pat; stepmother, Mrs. Lula Tannehill, and the following sisters and brothers: Clarence, Jessie and Jack Tannehill, Winnfield; Milton Tannehill, Urania; Herbert Tannehill, Jena; Antone Tannehill, Elisha Tannehill, Alexandria; Murphy Tannehill, Urania; Mrs. Charlie Pace, Alexandria; Mrs. Q. T. Hardtner, Urania; Mrs. Vivian Fort, Texas; Mrs. R. S. Walsh, Misses Nevin, Nancy, Estelle, and Dee Tannehill, Winnfield.
