Mrs. Lizzie Tarver of Chatham Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Lizzie Tarver died at her home near Chatham June 23rd after several
months of illness. Mrs. Tarver was born August 3, 1900 and in 1919 was married
to V. L. Tarver.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and is survived by her husband,
three children, V. L., J. C., and Audrey Viola, father and mother, Mrs. J. L.
Garner of St. Maurice, a brother, J. A. Garner of Montgomery, and four
sisters, Mrs. R. L. Pinder, Starks; Mrs. J. D. Bullock, Montgomery; and Misses
Josie Lee and Susie Garner, St. Maurice.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Strother and interment was made in the
Mt. Zion Cemetery amid the sorrowing of many relatives and friends.
