Joe Tarver Rites Held Monday At East Winnfield

Last rites for Joe Tarver, 69, who died March 31 in Lafayette, were held in
East Winnfield Baptist Church Monday at 1 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. Kenneth
F. Wall, officiating.  Burial was in Gorhamtown Cemetery with Masonic rites.

The deceased was the husband of the former Miss Tennie O'Leary, native of
Winn, who survives him.  He also leaves one son, two daughters, one sister,
one brother, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
