Last Rites For Mrs. A. J. Taylor Held At Gansville

Mrs. A. J. Taylor, age about 60, member of a well-known Dodson family, and the
Dodson Methodist Church, succumbed Friday afternoon, March 1, 1940, at her
home near Dodson after a two week illness with influenza and pneumonia.

The deceased was before her marriage to the late A. J. Taylor, in 1918, Bertie
Simms of Hillie, Lincoln Parish.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by one son and one daughter, J. W. Sims of Calvin and
Mrs. Bessie Grisham of Silsbee, Texas, and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at Gansville
Baptist Church with Rev. Rugus Kitchingham officiating.
