Mrs. S. J. Taylor Dies; Funeral Held Saturday

Mrs. Edna McDade Taylor, 83, of Winnfield, died Thursday, September 3, 1970,
at 5 p.m. in a Winnfield hospital.  The widow of the late S. J. Taylor, she
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.  

Survivors include three sons, W. M. Taylor of Perry, Fla., Clyde Taylor and
Othel Taylor of Winnfield, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cox officiating, assisted by Rev. Skinner and
Rev. Gage.  Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jesse Bridges, Jimmy Ray Taylor, James Chandler, Bonner
Etheridge, James Tarver, and Billy DeBusk.
