Taylor, Retired Forestry Worker, Succumbs George T. Taylor, 65, a retired forestry worker, died February 5, 1965, at his residence in Calvin, after a brief illness. He was a native of Arkansas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 7, in Calvin Baptist Church with the Rev. T. E. Williams officiating. Burial was in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery at Calvin under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lollie Taylor; three sons, J. H. Taylor of Winnfield, Homer Taylor and Floyd Taylor, both of Calvin; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Poisso of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three brothers, Fred Taylor of Monroe, henry Taylor of Texas City, Texas, and John Taylor of Pickering; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gilmore and Mrs. Emma Garrett of Little Rock, Ark.; and 11 grandchildren.
