Homer Taylor, 41, Dies; Burial At Sanders Chapel

Funeral services for Homer Taylor, 41, of Calvin, were held at 2:30 p.m.
Monday in the Calvin Baptist Church, Rev. Leonard Free officiating.

Burial was in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin under the direction of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Taylor died Saturday, December 6, 1969 in Winnfield Hospital.

He was a logging contractor and a native of Georgetown.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Taylor of Calvin; two sons, Jimmy
Taylor and David Taylor, both of Calvin; two daughters, Margaret Taylor and
Polly Taylor, both of Calvin; two brothers, J. H. Taylor of Winnfield and
Floyd Taylor of Calvin; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Poisso of Del Rio, Texas; and
his mother, Mrs. Lottie Taylor of Calvin.
