She had been employed in Tullos Dry Goods Store for many years. Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Corinth Church with the Rev. Alson Jeter and the Rev. George Foster officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bill Edmonds, Blackie Jourdan, Glen Guin, Russell Tullos, Melvin Dunn, and Lehman Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers were R. C. Dees and Roscoe Bice. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Taylor, Winnfield; two brothers, William Mann of West Monroe and Marlin Mann of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Thornhill of Columbia and Mrs. Merdie Butts of Shreveport; and her mother, Mrs. Mattie Mann of Columbia.
