N. Taylor, Sr., At Siloam Funeral services for William Nolan Taylor, Sr., 81, of Route 2, Dodson, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Siloam Baptist Church at Gansville, with the Rev. R. B. Kitchingham, Rev. Louis Moffett, and Rev. Cecil Taylor officiating. Burial was in Siloam Cemetery under the direction of Edmond's Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Mr. Taylor died Monday night at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer and had served on the Winn Parish School Board for over 22 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Taylor; seven sons, Wilburn Taylor and Willian N. Taylor, Jr., of Shreveport; Louie Taylor, Hesley Taylor, and Buford Taylor, Dodson; Lonnie Taylor, Dallas, Texas, and Edgar Taylor, New Orleans; one brother, Virtil Taylor, Fresno, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Johnson, Smackover, Ark.; 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
